Request to Raid

Hello all. I am Lilzak 120 female halfling druid. You also may know me as Zakaril my 120 SK.

Ravwolf and Synthaxx asked me to post my application for your consideration. I was a raid druid in AoH up until 2014. I left before the merger because of work and travel where I didn't have game access.

I was told by several AOH toons that I was a decent raid healer and asset to the AoH guild. Before AoH, I was in Dark Templars and Infinite Alliance guilds. Unfortunately those guilds didn't last.

My primary reason for playing EQ is to group with friends. For the short time I have been in CoN, I have received an incredible and friendly approach by all members. CoN is quite a family and even if I'm not found to be CoN raider-quality, I'd like to stay as a social member.

I don't/cant box and only have 4 toons, only 2 of which I play. Other 2 is my trader Dragula and a 100 chanter I use for enchanting, Stinkerbelle. Dragula is unguilded and Stinkerbelle is still in AoH quietly sleeping.

I have talked with your class leader Kagdessar and set up my spells/AAs as he suggested. I am aware of what role druids are to play in your raids and how to act and move. I have GINA loaded with your raid triggers.

I have all the required things you ask for for raiders. I still working on armor and jewelry but hope to have all T3 NoS stuff very soon. I also have a lot of augs from ToV. ToL, and NoS installed in armor.

I been working with Lilzak, Should be ok for raids. Knows all the basics, and will help with a few more things for survive-ability.

I thinks Lilzak should be a social player until he gets back in the groove, He still has many bugs to work out and with kags help and others might be a valuable asset later on but at this point he still needs a lot of work remembering how to play a druid.

Hello CoN mates. After my embarrassing raid play on Sunday and from a long talk with Rav yesterday, I am withdrawing my application to raid.

I am very grateful to all the CoN players who helped me level up and have done everything they could to educate me on CoN group and raid tactics. I am especially grateful to Ravwolf and Enverdaz for their generosity for the raid drops from the last 2 raids. I will wear those two items and new spells proudly.

For the record, I have a congenital 70-75% hearing loss which in RL I adapt to by lip reading. Based on Sunday raids, I realize now how much aural Discord commands and input plays a part for CoN. My former raid activities as a druid used primarily window based tells, information and commands with some Teamspeak use. My hearing wasn't quite so bad back then.

As recommended by Elrogue's post above, Id like to stay at social status if that is ok with Rav and CoN. As far as remembering how to play a druid, a lot of my best time in EQ prior to my leaving were as a druid and I think I'll be able to resurrect those talents soon.

One final comment. Take care of your and your family's hearing by having it checked regularly and by using protection when necessary. Otherwise you could be "doomed" to having your significant other get tired of having to shout at you to get your attention (when not looking at them), and you having to use CC closed captions to enjoyi TV and movies fully.

You can set up Gina triggers to have text overlay on your screen. No need to have sound if that doesn't work for you.

I have hearing loss but have hearing aids.!
